Michael Stark
Michael is a writer, video creator and entrepreneur with over 20 years of startup and business management experience, now dedicated to Givngrow’s mission of helping businesses and charities grow by forming technology and cause marketing partnerships. He has created companies in the fintech, digital media and online marketplace sectors that have achieved successful exits through acquisitions by firms like Western Union, Toronto Stock Exchange and IPOs on the Nasdaq OTC. Michael is also a founding partner of, a fintech company focused on payment processing and donation creation.
Jafar Hasan
Strategic Partnerships
Jafar brings a wealth of digital marketing knowledge and experience from the charity and corporate sectors. Previously at Imagine Canada, which represents 170,000 organizations in Canada’s social good sector, he worked on creating the digital funding platform Grant Connect. At Groupon, he managed the content team of over 70 where social media and email generated 80% of the company's revenue, leading to the second largest tech IPO behind google. He has been involved in cultural and operational transformations through technology and strategy at non-profits and companies in the UK, US and Canada.
Rich Zhou
CFO - Writer - Food Waste - CSR
Rich is also a founding partner and CFO of and Givngrow partner company. Before venturing into his startup life, Rich worked at global companies such as McCain Foods, Walmart Bank, CITCO Group of Companies, and Canada’s leading investment bank, RBC Capital Markets. He is highly experienced in food waste and distribution, fundraising, operations, investment and retail banking, and nonprofit accounting. Most recently he was Controller/Head of Finance at leading Canadian Fintech Bank Card Company KOHO.

Brady is an accomplished HR and CSR professional and founder of Maximus Life which is a corporate - nonprofit fundraising platform designed for employee engagement and community giving. The platform provides teams with modern tools for year-round programs (CSR campaigns, workplace giving/matching, sustainability, wellbeing, fundraising, social impact campaigns, cause marketing, events/volunteering and disaster relief). The Maximus API is the first charity API to link employee wellbeing directly to nonprofits while also allowing any user-focused software to link to global impact.
